Dress for Las Vegas Weather
When discussing how to dress for Las Vegas Weather, it can be very tricky. Being here in the desert, the weather is almost always tolerable. It gets pretty hot in the summer, sometimes reaching 115 degrees and more. But all of the Casinos are very air conditioned. For most of the summer months you will want to wear shorts, sandals, tee shirts and tank tops etc. during the day time. Women should bring something to tie hair up or back for when you go outside.
It is a good idea for both men and women to bring a hat in the summer as the heat from the sun does get pretty intense. In the evening, it does not cool down very much, so most women like to bring very light, but elegant dresses and short outfits or skirts. Night time sizzles in Las Vegas, so you may want to shop carefully as the fashion is always in bloom here!
In the Fall, the weather here is wonderful and we get very little rain. Sometimes we get a little cool wind, but there are still days when you could probably wear a swimming suit! Always bring a light jacket in the Fall as it is still unpredictable.
In the winter it can get cold, but we never really get snow that hangs around or anything. We still get very little rain, but when we do it comes fast and furious, but doesn’t last very long. If I had to suggest clothing for winter, I would have to tell you to bring a little bit of everything, but never snow shoes!
The best advice I could give you is to always bring walking shoes as there is so much to see! Bring a bathing suit because when the sun is out it is very warm. Dress up clothing for evenings is a must if you plan on having any fun at all! For women, bring a large handbag, as you may be picking up souvenirs along your walking jaunts down the strip during the day!
The evenings in Las Vegas are very exciting and you will see many beautiful people wearing all kinds of styles from every walk of life. You will fit in no matter what you are wearing. However when you sit down for dinner and look around only to find that everyone is dressed to the max in glamorous coordinates that glitter and glisten, you will wish you did too!I hope this has helped you to decide how to dress for Las Vegas weather!
